Huatulco has Endles things to do
The Central Area of this grouping of bays is Santa Cruz, close to the icon town of La Crucecita, which supplies most Tourist and commercial activities. Cruise Ships dock at Bahia de Santa Cruz so passengers have direct access to artisan hand craft shops, discothèques, bars, restaurants; as well as to activity agencies, for Jungle tours, sailboat excursions, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, jet skis, surfing and other water related things to do. Bahia de Santa Cruz is the most popular Bay and even has the Santa Cruz Chapel where people get married in front of the Ocean. A good part of Hotels and Resorts are on Santa Cruz Bay, others are spread out on Tagolunda Bay where you find the more upscale and All Inclusive resorts such as The Camino Real, Las Brisas, Gala and Barceló. Additionally you will have more hotels on Chanhue Bay which has a marina for yachts and 3 main beaches. Then Bahía Conejos is 4 km east of Tangolunda and has various residential complexes.
In the Bahia Conejos area, you will also find the outburst of Río Copalita and along this coast a large zone of beaches with some of the best surf waves, such as Playa El Mojon and Barra de la Cruz. Still, all this Ecological Paradise where Nature does a very generous exposition is contained in an area 26 kilometers long, which makes it easy to enjoy it all. Included is the National Park containing the Bays of Maguey, Órgano, Cacaluta, Chachacual and San Agustín. This National Park registers over 700 animal species, ideal for hiking and bird watching. The Bays in this area have the best Coral Formations on the Mexican Pacific coast, where diving and snorkeling are very enjoyable. Close by, you will have coffee plantations that are surrounded by waterfalls and ravines still in operation and accessible with tours, including Finca Las Nieves, Finca Monte Carlos, Finca Margaritas, Finca El Pacífico and Finca La Gloria with the butterfly sanctuary and the Llano Grande Falls.
