In Zihuatanejo there has been an important immigration of Swiss and Austrians, some of which you will find engaged in the Restaurant trade.  Some places that can be mentioned are on the Ixtapa Boulevard and Shopping Center, you will find, in addition to Hotel Restaurants open to the Public, The Golden Cookie Shop with Steaks and International cuisine ; Beccofino Italian; Villa de la Selva nice Mexican Food and Ruben's Special Burgers, among others. Of course many people go to Zihuatanejo and will have sglightly lower prices and good quality at Casa Puntarenas Mexican Cuisine, Coconuts Steaks and International cuisine, Kau-Kan assorted Seafood, La Sirena Gorda Mexican,  Nueva Zelanda Mexican good & moderate prices and La Perla at Playa La Ropa with regional Sea Food.
