Cast is in beta: a new chapter for digital storytelling
Melius Team

Every video starts with something worth sharing. A story from your day. A product detail you want to explain. An idea for a character who could carry an entire series.

Cast is our AI avatar video studio, and it's in beta. You choose an avatar, shape the script, and bring the story to video with control over elements like voice, background, and tone.

We're excited about what that could mean for digital storytelling. As Cast develops, our ambition is to make it easier to explore an idea, find the right delivery, and create something you want to share.

A studio that starts with your story

You can bring a script you've already written, paste or upload it, or describe an idea to get a draft started. Templates offer another starting point, including vlogs, product reviews, unboxings, tutorials, and founder stories.

From there, you make it your own. Choose an avatar or create one from reference photos or a written description, adjust the words, and shape the presentation around the story you're telling.

That combination is what makes Cast exciting to us. The script and the person delivering it belong in the same creative process.

Vlogs, reviews, unboxings, and beyond

A vlog needs a point of view. A product review needs a useful observation. An unboxing needs a reveal that feels worth waiting for.

These formats give us different ways to think about Cast's potential:

  • Vlogs: personal reflections, narrated updates, and fictional character diaries
  • UGC-style videos: casual, creator-style product stories and social clips with a conversational feel
  • Product reviews: presenter-led videos built around your own observations and findings
  • Unboxings: scripted introductions that build curiosity around a product reveal
  • Explainers and tutorials: a familiar presenter walking viewers through an idea
  • Short films and recurring series: characters and stories you can keep developing

The opportunity goes beyond making a single clip. We want Cast to become a place where you can develop a voice, try different approaches, and build on the stories you've already started.

What beta means

Cast is still developing, and access is opening through the waitlist. Treat the beta as a place to experiment: try a short script, review the result, and refine the details that matter to your story.

The possibilities above describe the direction we're excited about. As the product evolves, the experience and results will evolve with it.

Help shape what comes next

The Cast early-access offer includes 30,000 free credits to help you experiment with your first stories. Join the waitlist for updates on early-access invitations and how to claim the offer.

The most interesting part will be seeing what people make. A fictional travel diary, a thoughtful product breakdown, a founder's first update, or a story we haven't imagined yet.
