  • Krea and Magnific offer Kling in no-code web apps, both with Kling 4.0, and Higgsfield and Adobe Firefly carry the Kling 3.0 family.

Where can you use Kling?

Melius is the best platform for using Kling inside a larger project, because it runs Kling 4.0 and the Kling 3.0 family on one canvas with other leading video and image models. Kling's own app is the official source and had Kling 4.0 on launch day, but many other tools have added it since.

The Kling API serves developers directly, and Melius and Replicate host Kling 4.0 and earlier versions behind an API. Krea and Magnific put Kling 4.0 in no-code web apps, Higgsfield pairs Kling 3.0 with its own camera presets, and Adobe Firefly offers Kling 3.0 as a partner model in Creative Cloud.

We compared the platforms on which Kling versions each one serves, whether you work in a browser or through code, which Kling tools come with it (Motion Control, lip sync, video editing), and what you can do with a clip after it's generated.

Which Kling models are current in October 2026

Kuaishou released Kling 4.0 on October 15, 2026. It generates clips of 3 to 30 seconds in one pass at up to 4K, takes up to 15 references in a single task, including images, video clips, and a voice, and produces stereo audio. HDR output, multi-extension up to two minutes, and the enterprise API aren't out yet. Kling marks them as coming soon.

Kling 3.0, fully rolled out on March 4, 2026, brought native audio in five languages and multi-shot generation for clips of 3 to 15 seconds. Its variants include 3.0 Omni, which can reference a short video of a character for both look and voice and edit existing footage, 3.0 Turbo for faster generation, and 3.0 Motion Control, which transfers the movement in a reference video onto your character.

1. Melius - Kling next to every other model on one canvas

Melius is the AI-native operating system for creatives, with AI agents for creative work on a node-based canvas. Kling 4.0 joined our library of leading models in October 2026, next to the Kling 3.0 family, Seedance 2.5, and Veo 3.1. It makes scenes of up to 30 seconds from text, images, references, or existing footage.

On Melius, a Nano Banana Pro still can run through Kling 4.0, then Kling Lipsync, all on one platform with one prompt. The Melius agent Mel can wire each step to the right model for the task.

What it does well: Kling runs next to other leading image, video, and audio models, in the browser, the desktop app, MCP, CLI, and API.

Trade-off: Motion Control isn't in the catalog yet.

Best for: Comparing Kling against Seedance or Veo on one brief.

2. Kling app - the official home of Kling

Kling's own app runs on the web at kling.ai and on iOS, Android, and Windows, and it's carried Kling 4.0 since its launch on October 15, 2026. The app also has Motion Control, AI Avatar, an Element library for reusable characters, and its own agent and canvas.

What it does well: Every Kling feature in one place, from launch day.

Trade-off: The free Basic plan has watermarked output, and commercial use is a paid-plan benefit.

Best for: Creators who mainly use Kling and want each new version as soon as it ships.

3. Kling API - first-party access for developers

The Kling API at kling.ai/dev sells prepaid resource packs, valid for 180 days, and bills generation per second. It serves Kling 3.0, 3.0 Omni, 3.0 Turbo, Motion Control, and Avatar. Kling 4.0 API access isn't open yet, and early access goes through a business inquiry.

What it does well: Direct access to Kling with published per-second rates.

Trade-off: Packs are bought up front, and the current packs don't cover Kling 4.0.

Best for: Developers building Kling into a product at volume.

4. Replicate - many Kling versions, old and new

Replicate's Kuaishou page lists Kling 4.0 alongside Kling 3.0, 3.0 Omni, O1, the 2.x models, an avatar model, lip sync, and Motion Control for v3 and v2.6.

What it does well: Keeping an older Kling version running in a pipeline while testing a newer one.

Trade-off: It runs one model per request, with no editor for assembling shots.

Best for: Pipelines that need a specific Kling version pinned.

5. Krea - Kling 4.0 in a web app

Krea offers Kling 4.0 in its web app for clips of 3 to 30 seconds at up to 1080p, along with Kling 3.0, Kling 2.5, and Krea's own image and video tools.

What it does well: Trying Kling 4.0 without writing code.

Trade-off: Krea's Kling 4.0 tops out at 1080p.

Best for: Artists who want Kling 4.0 in a browser today.

6. Magnific - Kling with a stock library

Magnific, the platform formerly called Freepik, carries Kling from 2.5 through 4.0, including 3.0 Omni, 3.0 Turbo, and Motion Control.

What it does well: Many Kling versions and Motion Control in one subscription, next to stock assets.

Trade-off: It's a large general-purpose suite, so Kling is one of many tools to find your way around.

Best for: Designers who already use Magnific's assets.

7. Higgsfield - Kling 3.0 with camera presets

Higgsfield runs Kling 3.0 for clips up to 15 seconds, plus Kling O1, 2.6, and 2.5 Turbo, inside its web app of video presets and camera controls. Its own comparison page says Kling 4.0 isn't available on Higgsfield yet.

What it does well: Kling 3.0 next to preset camera moves and effects templates.

Trade-off: No Kling 4.0 for now, and Higgsfield's own comparison points to Kling's app for Motion Control.

Best for: Social creators who start from presets.

8. Adobe Firefly - Kling inside Creative Cloud

Adobe Firefly offers Kling 3.0 and Kling 3.0 Omni as partner models, with up to six shots per prompt, next to Adobe's own Firefly models.

What it does well: Kling clips that move straight into Premiere and the rest of Creative Cloud.

Trade-off: Adobe's commercial-safety assurance covers its own Firefly models. For partner models like Kling, you judge whether the output suits your project.

Best for: Video editors already working in Adobe's apps.

How to choose a platform for Kling

  1. Check the version. Kling 4.0 is on Kling's app, Melius, Replicate, Krea, and Magnific. Higgsfield and Adobe Firefly carry the 3.0 family.
  2. Check which Kling tools come with it. Motion Control, lip sync, and video editing are separate products, and not every platform has them.
  3. Decide between an app and an API. Web apps suit hands-on work. Melius, Replicate, and the Kling API suit code and pipelines.
  4. Think about the rest of the project. If the clip needs a designed first frame, a voiceover, or a cut with other shots, a platform that does those steps saves exporting between tools.

Using Kling on Melius

Brief Mel with the shot, any reference images, and the length, and name Kling if you want it:

"Make a 20-second scene of the runner from these three photos crossing the finish line at dawn, slow push-in, on Kling 4.0, and give me a Seedance 2.5 version to compare."

Mel builds both nodes, runs them, and you keep the take you like, rerunning either node with a new prompt.

For a spoken line, connect the clip and the audio to Kling Lipsync, which takes 2 to 10 seconds of video and 2 to 60 seconds of audio, or turn a still portrait and an audio track into a talking-head video with Kling Avatar.

As of late October 2026, Kling 4.0 is available in Kling's own app and on Melius, Replicate, Krea, and Magnific. Kling's own API lists it as coming soon, with early access by request, and Higgsfield says it doesn't have Kling 4.0 yet.
Is Kling free to use?
Kling's app has a free Basic plan with watermarked output, and commercial use is a benefit of the paid plans. API platforms charge per generation or per second.
Which Kling model is best for lip sync?
Kling Lipsync matches the lips in an existing video to a new audio track, and Kling Avatar turns a still portrait and an audio clip into a talking-head video. Kling 4.0 also improves lip sync inside its own generations.
Can I use Kling videos commercially?
Yes, on Melius. You own the content you create on Melius and can use, publish, and distribute it commercially, subject to the underlying model providers' terms. Melius doesn't claim ownership of your work and doesn't use it to train AI models. In Kling's own app, commercial use comes with the paid plans.
